One of the honestly laughable things about the new Nexus Q was that its whole intent is to promote Google Play music and video. Sure we can now watch tv shows as well as buy(not just rent) movies on Google play but are we really trying to be like Apple in this late stage of the game? Strength is in numbers and not having Netflix or Crunchyroll or Hulu already on the Nexus Q is a head scratcher.
Thankfully someone figured out how to add a normal android launcher to the Q. This also allows normal android apps on the orb like …. NETFLIX!!! So yay for Google making this device dev friendly but nay for throwing it out there with a practically blank sheet to work with.
