Boy, that was fun. This week, supposed Sony Nexus X pictures leaked out to the internet. Come to find out they were faked. The detail was so faked that it took 7.5 hours to make the fake. The question is, how and why?
I faked the Sony Nexus X. Truly sorry. But I did come away from the experience with a few observations. I will share these musings, along with how and why I created these fakes.
This bored person took the time to add nuances and physical features in such a way that over a thousand posts and articles were written regarding it. I think the first headline I read about it said a Google Employee uploaded pictures of his Sony Nexus. Where that came from is beyond me. The sad fact is that we are so anxious for the “next” big thing, any “thing” could trick us.
