New cloud app that specifically backs up contacts, call log, pictures and music. Some aspects are good but your Google account handles your Google contacts so that is not needed. Here is the introduction via email:
We have released a new Android app that we believe is essential for everyone with an Android Phone. G Cloud backup is an intelligent, effortless and automatic way to protect and backup all your Android’s data to a secure cloud location. G Cloud can backup your call log, contacts, messages, pictures, videos, music and documents silently without rooting, special requirements, or any user intervention. You get 1GB to protect your device for free. Also you can upgrade to 10GB for only $0.99/month. That backs up about 5,000 picture! We would appreciate if you can review the app on your website. Here is a link to the application: www.genie9.com/GCloud.aspx
I use regular Google to back up my Contacts so don’t need that. Text Messgaes SMS/MMS I use Titanium Backup which backs up other stuff like APPS so don’t need it for that. Emails autobackup on gmail and my work server. Documents are all on Google Drive. Music on Google Music and Videos I stream so what am I gonna need this app for? Who would even need it you paying 99 cent a month for what? All the services I mentioned above are free (titanium has a premium that I paided but even still the free version can do all I said above I believe)
I’m with you, but somebody somewhere without a rooted phone could use this. I already mentioned the Google account back ups but I do like the call log back up feature.

@solacetech LOL I forgot that there are people who don’t root. SN I had my Galaxy Nexus for 2 days and I tried to rock stock and I ended up rooting and unlocking bootloader lol can’t have a Android phone without root haha. But yea I feel you about that but im pretty sure there are free apps somewhere that do this even better. Why would you need Call log backups though?
@MrCapcomDS For business. It’s easier to refer to your call log than to search for the client you might not have in your contacts.
@MrCapcomDS Wow, so it makes sense to you to have a gazillion thing to backup all your stuff, instead of just one App?? I don’t know about you, but 99 cents is way less than my morning coffee… Besides the service is free, it offers 1 GB which is more than enough for the average Android user…Don’t know about you, but I’m sold.
