I was not a fan of Pandora when they first debuted. I was looking to be saved from the old radio format. When I typed in an artist I expected to hear that artist, not someone an algorithm said I would like. Through the years many excepted this analog formula as a new “thing” on line and pandora was at the forefront of it.
Later came grooveshark and other apps that played what we wanted to hear but now the artists and publishing companies were upset because we really didn’t want to listen to the radio the way they wanted us too anymore. Who got the blame and punishment for online radios? Pandora. Now I have never been in a business situation like they were but pleading and crying for help because of the proposed music fees seemed, weak to me.
Thankfully today, everything looks to be sorted out and Pandora along with other music apps have found a way to make enough money to pay everyone else plus themselves. Above is a quick look at their new look and below is the download link. Have at it.
