I’m trying to head off @Jason at the pass with this one. Amazon really showed us they care with this disruption. First they stopped selling the old version of the Kindle Fire. Then they upgrade the hardware and software on the original Kindle Fire. THEN they still drop the price on it to 159.99.

No one is doing anything like this. Jeff Bezos is embarrassing and taunting everyone else. Can you imagine Apple not selling the existing iPhone4S but instead upgrading it, dropping its price and then debuting the iPhone 5 also? Never in a million years would they do that.

Even Google should feel a little silly debuting the wifi only Nexus 7 at 199.99 but now about to sell the 3g at probably a higher price. Yes this is  what economy classes have taught us for decades but clearly Amazon is reading from a different, better book. I’m impressed. How about you?
