Wow. Have you ever stood there and smiled as someone insults you? That’s kinda how Google is now with its Nexus 7. Since my Asus netbook stopped charging too im not too worried about that but now the screens are loose on some and the screen doesn’t respond on others. Asus is not helping Android‘s image right now. Hopefully someone will give an official statement soon regarding these hardware issues.
I also hope iPhone users stay quiet on this since they were told to buy a bumper to fix a huge hardware defect on the iPhone4. Defects come with the territory when it comes to totally new products. Even new cars have factory issues and recalls. We live in a disposal ship it fast world so we have to get used to this kind of stuff…. right? Will another hardware issue crop up on the Nexus 7? I hope not. It received such good reviews, it would be a shame to have Google silence on the matter mar Android’s already shaken reputation. What do you think?
Heres what one blogger found:
“Geek.com’s Ryan Whitwam recently put up a video showing a decidedly inconsistent touch experience with repeated loss of touch connection. According to Ryan, this occurrence is intermittent and varies in severity.”
