In the video above I quickly show how to pull up famous internet people as well as companies. After that you can set up notifications for each time they post a status on one of the major social networks. The paid version allows you to search a topic(I believe) and follow anyone mentioning your desired keyword.
Another interesting point is that this is the only app outside of g+ that displays Google plus data. If I am wrong please correct me. I think I’m going to buy the paid version just because this developer has beat everyone else to the Google punch.
