[Update: Bad News for Bestbuy here]While updating the Bestbuy app I noticed a couple of cool things. First of all the actual update is ok. Checking for the prices of used games is a plus but what really caught my eye was a screen capture above. Since when did Bestbuy have an app center? It looks relatively old judging by the shot being taken on an Android 2.1 device….

I guess that’s the benefit and curse of Android, anyone can create a store full of apps. What counts is who you trust. Bestbuy has a trustworthy reputation so their app center should be just another convenience for the shopper.

Anyway the other cool feature is that the app will tell you if you need to update your phone to a newer model. Lol I see that helping them more than you but it’s still a novel try. Click the link below if you love shopping at Bestbuy.
