If you bought a Motorola device in 2011 we have bad news. The latest news from Cnet is that Motorola has decided not upgrade those devices to Android 4.0 or higher.
“If we didn’t make the hard call here, we would be in trouble going forward,”
This happens all of the time in retail when the company forces you to buy their new product by refusing to update your existing product. What makes this instance insulting is that Motorola had previously promised to upgrade most of the more expensive Androids like the Photon 4G. Now it seems this no longer the case.
